CIBIS Launches Its First AI Product – The CIBIS Assistant

We’re proud to introduce the CIBIS Assistant, our first AI-driven solution that combines an intuitive Large Language Model (LLM) chat interface with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to significantly reduce the time and effort required for complex, multi-step business processes.

Our initial application focuses on supporting Local Government planning teams in streamlining development application approvals. This process typically involves numerous steps and interaction with various systems—including enterprise platforms, document management systems, and government portals. 

The CIBIS Assistant intelligently automates these interactions through a conversational interface and rules-based logic tailored to align with each council’s approved workflows. For instance, the Assistant can automatically verify that all required documents are present before submission, based on the type of development application, ensuring actions occur in the correct sequence. This helps reduce delays and the costs associated with incomplete or incorrectly processed applications.
